International conference Chromosome 2023

Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology SB RAS, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Novosibirsk State University organize a conference on structure of chromosomes and genomes

The conference Chromosome 2023 will be held in Academgorodok of the city of Novosibirsk in September 5-10, 2023

The conference will discuss the latest achievements of domestic and foreign experts in the field of molecular and cellular biology in the following areas:

•  The structure and functions of chromosomes in mitosis and meiosis
•  Organization of transcription and replication in chromosomes
•  Interphase polytene chromosomes
•  Epigenetics
•  Karyotype evolution and genomics
•  Sex chromosomes
•  B chromosomes
•  Cell cycle and mitosis
•  Chromosomal territories and nuclear architecture
•  Telomeres and centromeres
•  Heterochromatin
•  Chromosomal pathologies
•  Prokaryotic chromosomes
•  Mitochondrial and viral DNA

REGISTRATION

The conference program includes oral and poster presentations. The duration of the report is 15-25 minutes. Remote participation is possible. The working languages of the conference are Russian and English. Simultaneous translation will be provided for reports in Russian. The number of oral presentations is limited, therefore, after registration of all participants (until June 1), the program committee will have to select only a part of all applications for oral presentations. A decision will be made by June 15th.
